There's good apps, then there's outstanding ones. Without a doubt, this is my favorite app. Every day, it looks at my photos (on the phone) and on Facebook (I have none) and automatically delivers photos from the same day from prior years. In essence, buried photos that I would not think to look for. Hey, sort of like my book ... Buried Treasures of the Web.
If you like good memories, then I recommend installing Timehop now. Since the 1970s our homes have gotten much bigger, but not these. Believe it or not, there is a small house movement. Check some of these out. After viewing these, you might want to downsize.

As an aside, the other day, I showed a friend the first digital camera that I owned. It used these floppies - total storage: 1.2 megabytes.
Most business cards are pretty boring. Start off the new year with an incredible set of business cards. Below is my card from Moo.com. The back has many different creative sayings with artwork. Moo has hundreds of designs to choose from. This is the one I liked. It makes handing out a business card fun.
Google just released an updated version of Google Translate. It truly is amazing. You can use it for international travel, to learn a new language (think young kids), or just to have fun. This is installment #2 that demonstrates the demise of cable TV. Recently, YouTube has "upped its game" in regard to music. There's a tremendous amount of live concerts housed on YouTube. It also has some creative ways of presenting new music to you. Enjoy Warren Haynes and Grace Potter's version of Gold Dust Woman. It's outstanding. Further down the page, I have my favorite artist listed. The website it links to provides over 15-hours of live music. Again, just one small example. In Buried Treasures of the Web, I have some tools that will make these YouTube videos even more enjoyable. Postscript: In 2006, Google purchased YouTube for $1.6-billion. Back then, I thought that was a bargain. Based on recent Internet buyouts, it certainly was.
Over the years, I've watched a tremendous amount of amazing presentations and interviews. This ranks at the top. Martine Rothblatt is interesting and brilliant. These two Twitter sites have 2.2-million and 1.49-million followers. Click on them and take a peek. Have you ever watched the evening news? Since the demographic is "old folk", most of the ads are for prescription medications. However, there are many side effects to these powerful drugs.
